Eggington Productions Is Hiring for a TV Series

Hi everyone, I know I have been absent for while (again). It just seems to happen in my life every few weeks. I guess that is just how this blog will work.

Anyway, my friend William Eggington of Eggington Productions is in the pre-production phase of an animated CG TV series. For the final production he is looking for animators, riggers, texturing and shading artist, TD’s, compositors… well, basically the whole pipeline of CG productions.

The production’s pipeline will heavily consist of messiah and AfterEffects. But there is no problem in learning messiah if you don’t know it yet.

Messiah is a very fast rigging and animation software with a great renderer (which will also be used for the final output). The shading language is similar to C, so all you Renderman SL guys should have no problem adapting at all. As for rigging and animating compared to Maya or XSI: do it once in Messiah and never look back. At least that’s what I think.

Also worth mentioning is that Eggington Productions is only interested in off-site online workers at the moment. A system is in place for communication and file exchange, so there should be no reason not to join this nice production.

And now to make this “advertising” complete, I let the man behind say a few words:

Eggington Productions is embarking on fairly complex production and I’m trying to put together the resources I’ll need to pull it off.

I’m currently looking for people who have experience with Messiah and/or Lightwave to help build, texture and light sets. Messiah is a tricky beast that requires artists to be familiar with its strengths and limitations so I’m hoping to reach out here first to find people that might meet those requirements.

If you are interested in helping out please contact me with what you feel your strengths are and some samples of your work.

Thank you.

You can contact William Eggington via e-mail. Good luck!
